Project Overview:

Grove Arcade, given its history and wide range of offerings, created many opportunities for us to improve its search engine visibility. Through our keyword research, we noticed that a majority of their initial search traffic was coming from keywords related to its niche businesses – like a yarn shop or a book exchange/champagne bar. We implemented Google’s best practices to highlight their highest performing keywords, but we also developed strategies to improve its ranking for more general keywords such as shopping and restaurants. One tactic that worked out well was branding their restaurant category as “Restaurant Row,” which helped us reach the first page of Google alongside mainstream directory sites like TripAdvisor and Yelp.
