Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse Social Media
Project Overview:
One of the most exciting new restaurants opening in Asheville, and by one of the top restaurant groups in the country, Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse needed the best team in town to spread the word and share the brand of this new, unique food concept. We were hired to do a variety of marketing strategies, but Instagram is our primary priority. We started the project with little to no content and only a handful of nice photos from one of the restaurant group’s previous but similar concepts. We were challenged with hyping up a new restaurant concept without any content of the restaurant and a few photos of some of the dishes. We came up with the idea to post these few shots blurred and pixelated, to make people curious about what the food would look like. This idea worked, and along with connecting with some large accounts on our news and updates, we were able to shoot the account from 0 followers to 2,000 in the two week period before the restaurant opened. Quickly growing in followers, engagement, and overall popularity around the region, we intend to help make Ukiah a restaurant you cannot miss, and talked about around the country and world. It helps to have a great client with delicious food and an amazing concept!
